OCDGamechangers Event Inquiry Form
Do you want us to come to your city and host one of our OCD community events? We’ve been to England, Spain, Germany, Colorado, California, and more. Read on for how to make it happen.
Our event format:
A speaker panel of 3-5 people sharing their lived experience with OCD. If you have other ideas you’d like to submit, include them below. Our events are intentionally smaller to create an intimate feel and promote connection, usually limited to no more than 50 people.
OCDGamechangers' Responsibilities:
A OCDGC stakeholder comes to help facilitate/attend the event.
We collaborate with you to select the event speakers.
– Empowering the local community is important to us, as is the continued integrity of our events. We will work together using the OCDGC network of speakers and your own local community to create the lineup.
Marketing the event on our social channels
– We will help spread the word about the event on our social media pages, and expect you to do the same.
Handling Ticket Sales
– We will manage ticket sales via Eventbrite and our website.
Your Responsibilities:
– Finding and securing an event space
– Marketing the event in your group’s channels and in your local community
– Working with us to create the speaker lineup
– Submitting speaker agreements at least 4 months out from the even
Timeline:
4 months out: Speakers are selected and have committed in writing at least. Save the date promotion begins.
3 months out: Ticket sales will open. Heavier promotion.
2 months out: We must have at least 15 Early Bird ticket sales by this point to move forward with the event.
We cannot financially move forward with an event that has less than 15 ticket sales 2 months out.
