Ellie (She/They) is an award-winning playwright, actor, queer creative who is originally from Massachusetts where she also attended Emerson College. She is passionate about storytelling as a way to connect with others. Ellie is deeply inspired to collaborate on, create and share stories that discuss “uncomfortable” topics in a radically blunt, transparent, yet comedic way. Ellie finds moments of humor in horror, as a way to survive and celebrate the complexity of life, without minimizing the very real experience or struggle one may be facing.
In 2020, while hospitalized for a mental health crisis, Ellie started writing what would eventually turn into her international award-winning, critically acclaimed solo show: DRIVER’S SEAT: OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISASTER has been touring ever since. It most recently had a successful run at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland.
