Erin Venker was first diagnosed with OCD at the age of 12, but it wasn’t until she was 26 that she received effective treatment and truly understood her disorder. This transformative experience led her to change career paths and return to school to become a therapist specializing in OCD treatment. With nearly a decade of experience as an OCD specialist, Erin founded the OCD and Anxiety Center of Minnesota. She earned her master’s degree in Professional Clinical Counseling from St. Thomas University in 2017 and a BA in Studio Art from Saint Olaf College in 2010. Erin has undergone extensive training from renowned experts in the field and has dedicated several years to treating OCD and related disorders. Outside of her professional work, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs and cat, as well as engaging in various creative side projects.
