Dr. med. Nils Thiessen, MME

Nils is 46 years old and in retrospect had his first symptoms of OCD in his teens. He already has dealt with several themes in the past, some of them, especially the visible ones, he has been able to work on himself over the years, but some other compulsive issues were primarily mental and difficult to tackle.

Nils is a medical doctor and trained anesthetist with 18 years of clinical experience and is currently training to become a general practitioner. Because of his long and painful OCD journey, he is now involved with a self-help platform called OCDLand and has already spoken about his condition in podcasts.

He has a partner, a dog and a cat and lives happily near Coblenz in Germany.
